Terms of Service

Last updated: Jul 14, 2026 10:48 PM

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using https://lessago.co (the “Website” or “LessAgo”), operated by Codestodian Ltd, a private limited company formed in England with company number 16026184 and registered business address at 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

LessAgo helps people propose event dates, share an event, collect participant availability, and finalise a date. These Terms apply to every visitor, host, participant, and future account holder. By accessing or using LessAgo, you agree to these Terms. If you use LessAgo for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation.

You must be at least 18 years old to create any future account or enter into a contract with us. A person under 18 may use an event link only with the involvement and permission of a parent, guardian, or other responsible adult where permitted by law.

Share links and access controls

LessAgo uses different links for participants, hosts, and returning participants. A participant link may be shared with people invited to the event. A host-management link and a participant edit link act as access credentials and must be kept confidential.

You are responsible for choosing the people with whom you share a link and for promptly telling us if a confidential link may have been disclosed. Anyone who obtains a valid host or edit link may be able to view or change the related event or response. We may invalidate, suspend, or restrict a link where reasonably necessary to protect users, prevent abuse, or comply with law.

The service is currently free and does not accept purchases. If paid features are introduced, the applicable price, taxes, billing frequency, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms will be shown before any charge and will apply only after the purchaser accepts them.

Accounts

LessAgo does not currently require user accounts. If we introduce accounts, the following terms will apply from the time an account is created, together with any additional account terms presented at launch.

You must provide accurate and current information, keep credentials confidential, and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account except to the extent caused by our breach of duty or where applicable law provides otherwise.

You may terminate an account through the Website where that function is available or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate an account or access to the service where reasonably necessary for a material breach of these Terms, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or protection of other users. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.

Introducing accounts will not permit persistent background calendar access unless that feature is separately disclosed and any required consent is obtained. Our Privacy Policy explains the information that may be processed for future accounts.

Comments and uploading content

You retain ownership of event names, locations, display names, availability, and other content you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve LessAgo and to provide the event to people who have the relevant link. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for limited backups, security records, or retention required by law.

You must have the right to submit the content and to share any personal information it contains. Do not use event fields to disclose sensitive, confidential, or third-party information that is unnecessary for scheduling. You are responsible for the accuracy of your content and for obtaining any permission required from invitees or other people named in it.

You must not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, sexually explicit, exploitative of children, violent, deceptive, spam, unauthorised advertising, or that shares personal information without permission. We may remove or restrict content where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, or comply with law.

Prohibited uses

You agree that you will use this Website in accordance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations and these Terms at all times. The following is a non-exhaustive list of prohibited uses of this Website. You agree that you will not perform any of the following prohibited uses:

  1. Impersonating or attempting to impersonate Codestodian Ltd or its employees, representatives, subsidiaries or divisions;
  2. Misrepresenting your identity or affiliation with any person or entity;
  3. Sending or attempting to send any advertising or promotional material, including but not limited to spam, junk mail, chain mail or any similar material;

  6. Using any robot, spider or other similar automatic technology, process or means to access or use the Website for any purpose, including monitoring or copying any of the material on this Website;
  7. Using any manual process or means to monitor or copy any of the material on this Website or for any other unauthorized purpose;

  11. Otherwise attempting to interfere with the proper working of the Website;
  12. Using the Website in any way that violates any applicable province, territory, state or country laws, rules or regulations.

Service quality and limitations

We will provide LessAgo with reasonable care and skill where required by applicable law. Because scheduling results depend on information supplied by users, browsers, and third-party calendar or map services, we do not promise that every conflict will be detected or that the service will always be available or error-free.

Nothing in these Terms affects a consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Availability, errors and inaccuracies

Event details, availability, calendar-assisted results, and third-party map information may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. Hosts and participants should review information before relying on it and correct their own submissions where the service permits. We may correct service errors, remove invalid data, or temporarily restrict a feature where reasonably necessary.

Liability

We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss caused by information supplied by a user, a failure to keep a confidential link or credential secure, an unreviewed calendar import, a third-party service outside our reasonable control, or an event cancellation or non-attendance that LessAgo did not cause.

We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or breach of non-excludable consumer rights. If you use LessAgo wholly for business purposes, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, or opportunity, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Links to third party websites

This Website may contain hyperlinks to websites operated by third parties and not by us. We provide such hyperlinks for your reference only. We do not control such websites and are not responsible for their contents or the privacy or other practices of such websites. Further, it is your responsibility to take precautions to ensure that whatever links you click on or software that you download, whether from this Website or other websites or applications, is free of such items as viruses, worms, trojan horses, defects and other items of a destructive nature. Our inclusion of hyperlinks to such websites does not imply any endorsement of the material on such websites or any association with their operators.

Third Party Services

The Application integrates with third-party services (including but not limited to GitHub, GitLab and Slack). We are not responsible for the availability, functionality, security or accuracy of any third-party services.

Any issues, errors or losses arising from third-party services are the responsibility of those providers.

Intellectual property

Except for user content, LessAgo and its software, design, text, graphics, branding, and other materials are owned by Codestodian Ltd or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.

If you believe that content on LessAgo infringes your intellectual-property rights, email [email protected] with your contact details, identification of the protected work, the relevant LessAgo page or event, the nature of the alleged infringement, and a statement that the information supplied is accurate and made in good faith. We may remove or restrict disputed content while we investigate and may request further information.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England. The courts of England will have jurisdiction, except that a consumer retains any mandatory protections and right to bring proceedings in another court that applicable law gives them.

If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of that right. Before starting formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us so that we can try to resolve the issue.

Changes to Terms of Service

We may update these Terms as LessAgo develops or when legal or provider requirements change. We will post the updated Terms on the Website and normally give at least 30 days’ notice before a material change applies to existing account holders. Where we have their contact details, we may also give notice by email.

A shorter notice period may apply where a change is required urgently for law, security, fraud prevention, a third-party service change, or to prevent harm. Changes that introduce paid features or materially different account or calendar access will be presented before a user accepts or uses the affected feature.

Questions

If you have any questions about our Terms of Service, please contact us at [email protected].

Nature of the Service

LessAgo allows a host to propose dates and an optional location, invite participants with a link, collect manual or calendar-assisted availability, and finalise an event date. LessAgo is a coordination tool only. It is not a calendar provider, invitation-delivery service, travel or venue-booking service, or guarantee that any participant will attend.

Event records are automatically deleted under the retention schedule in our Privacy Policy. Hosts and participants should keep any information they need after that period and should independently communicate material event changes where appropriate.

Share links and access controls

LessAgo uses different links for participants, hosts, and returning participants. A participant link may be shared with invitees. A host-management link and participant edit link act as access credentials and must be kept confidential. You are responsible for choosing the people with whom you share a link and for telling us promptly if a confidential link may have been disclosed. Anyone with a valid host or edit link may be able to view or change the related event or response.

Optional Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook Calendar, Google Maps, Google Places, and calendar-export features are supplied or supported by third parties and are subject to their own terms and privacy notices. You authorise the relevant data exchange when you choose to connect, search for a place, display a map, or export an event.

LessAgo requests read-only calendar access for the one-time availability import and does not guarantee the availability or continued operation of a third-party service. Google Calendar export sends the final event details you approve to Google. An ICS export creates a file for use with a calendar application selected by you.

No Reliance

Calendar-assisted availability is a convenience. It depends on the calendar information, time zones, permissions, transparency settings, and event status supplied by Google, Microsoft, your browser, and you. LessAgo may not identify every conflict, and an imported result may become outdated after it is calculated.

You must review imported busy periods and the availability that will be submitted. Hosts and participants remain responsible for confirming the final date, time, location, and attendance directly. Do not rely on LessAgo as the sole record of an event or as a substitute for checking your own calendar.

User Responsibility

You are responsible for the event information and availability you submit, the people with whom you share links, checking calendar-assisted results, and keeping confidential host, account, and participant-edit credentials secure. You must use LessAgo lawfully and avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information.

A host is responsible for ensuring that invitees reasonably expect to receive the event link and for communicating cancellations or important changes. A participant is responsible for submitting only their own availability unless authorised to act for someone else.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for reasonable losses, liabilities, and costs we incur as a direct result of your unlawful content, deliberate misuse of LessAgo, or material breach of these Terms. This does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by our breach of duty, negligence, or unlawful conduct, and it does not limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Calendar, map, and export services

Optional Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook Calendar, Google Maps, Google Places, and calendar-export features are supplied or supported by third parties and are subject to their own terms and privacy notices. You authorise the relevant data exchange when you choose to connect, search for a place, display a map, or export an event.

Data Protection

Our Privacy Policy explains how Codestodian Ltd processes personal information for LessAgo, including event and participant records, optional calendar connections, browser storage, analytics, retention, and future accounts. You must not use LessAgo to collect or disclose personal information unlawfully or to submit information about another person without an appropriate basis or permission.

If your use of LessAgo creates separate obligations under data-protection law—for example, because you organise an event for an employer or organisation—you are responsible for meeting those obligations and giving any notice required from you.

Service Availability

LessAgo is an evolving service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, and maintenance, provider outages, browser restrictions, or third-party API changes may affect features. We may modify or discontinue features, but will seek to provide reasonable notice where a change materially affects active account holders or existing events and it is practical to do so.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights that may apply to consumers.
